The 2022 Sheldon Family Association Annual Meeting and Reunion are planned for Wednesday, August 17 thru Saturday, August 20. We have chosen the DoubleTree by Hilton Boston Logan Airport Chelsea as our home base as we explore the Boston area. The hotel offers an airport shuttle service and is also very convenient for public transportation to both central Boston and to the Salem and Danvers area north of the city.
The reunion committee is planning a tour of Sheldon sites in Danvers and Salem, as well as time to experience downtown Boston, walk the Freedom Trail, or spend a day at the New England Historic Genealogical Society for personal research. There will be plenty of time to reconnect with cousins, help each other with genealogy questions, and rekindle old friendships in the evenings at the hotel.
The Annual Meeting will be both live and via Zoom, from the hotel, on Saturday, August 20, at 3 pm Eastern Time. More information and instructions on how to connect on Zoom will be available as the date gets closer.
The reunion committee will happily accept suggestions for restaurants in Chelsea, Danvers, or Salem, as well as suggestions for “can’t miss” sites regarding Sheldons in the area.

The hotel has a free airport shuttle service for those who are flying in. To arrange pickup, call the hotel at 617-884-2900 when you arrive and have your luggage. The shuttle runs from 5am to 10pm.
